Almost every single “get healthy” and “weight loss” posting you read will tell you to skip the drive through and make all of your meals yourself. This is really good guidance. But at times the last thing you would like to do is prepare a whole dinner for yourself and your family. Sometimes almost all you want is to go to the drive through and get home as soon as possible. There isn’t any reason that you shouldn’t be authorized to do this and not be tormented by guilt about slipping on your diet. This may be possible because lots of the popular fast food spots are attempting to make their menus healthier now. Here is how you can find healthy food at the drive through.
Pick out a drive through at a restaurant that is known for catering to people with healthy palates. Arby’s for example, is void of burgers. Instead it is possible to select from roast beef sandwiches, salads, wraps and other healthier items. Wendy’s, whilst no stranger to the hamburger, also includes a lot of additional meal choices: large salads, large baked potatoes and other tasty items fill its menu. Not everything is McDonalds with its deep fried chicken parts and other terribly bad items.
Standard logic tells us that one certain way to get healthy and lose weight is to by pass the drive through and to remove fast food restaurants from your thoughts. Most of the time this is a good concept but if you make great choices, there is not any reason you can’t visit your drive through once in a while. Sometimes what you require most is just to have someone else do the cooking. When you choose healthful menu items, you do not have to feel guilty about visiting the drive through.

Instructions to make Deep Dish Chocolate Pecan Pie:

- Fold in the pecans.
- Fill pie crust. I do not pre bake the store bought crusts. Even when frozen.
- In a preheated 350°F. Oven, place pie on baking tray and bake 50-60 minutes. Middle of pie will still be a bit jiggly.
- Let cool 60 minutes before serving. This goes great with a vanilla bean ice cream or fresh whipped cream, or both!
