- Get 1 cup Coconut thick milk
- Provide 3/4 cup Boiled Whole milk
- Use 3 tablespoons Freshly grated Coconut
- You need Sugar/honey as preferred
- You need Cinnamon stick 1 medium
- You need Instant Coffee powder 2 tablespoons + a teaspoon
Steps to make Hot Coconut Mocha:
- Heat milk in a sauce pan. Maintain a low flame. - Add 1 medium sized cinnamon stick to the milk. Stir until cinnamon is well infused in the milk. Could enjoy the aroma. Take the cinnamon out from the milk once the aroma fills the place.
- Meantime, heat a pan to smoking point. Switch off and add the grated coconut. Toast quickly in the hot pan. Needn’t toast till brown. A dried flaky texture will do. Keep aside.
- Add sugar / honey. Dissolve in milk by stirring.
- Add coffee powder. Let it be stronger as we would add coconut milk to it. - Stir. By this time milk would have already boiled. - Switch off the heat.
- Take serving glasses. Add 1.5 teaspoon toasted coconut flakes in both the glasses. 1.5 teaspoon in one glass and another 1.5 teaspoon in the second glass.
- Now fill half of the glasses with thick coconut milk which is already extracted and kept. - Pour the prepare hot coffee on top of the coconut milk from certain distance to make it frothy.
- Sprinkle toasted coconut flakes on top. - Serve hot.
